Hi all,
Well, as I said in an earlier post, I had to go back to jaws 5, because my computers' time and date rolled back to January 1st, 1997. I thought, ok that's it, here we go back to 1997. When it rolls back, the keyboard turns on by its self, but I have to press f1 before it will start. When I booted the computer today, I was expecting to have to press f1 before windows would boot, but much to my surprise and amazement, it booted on its own, and when I checked the time and date, it had rolled back to the correct time and date. I suppose I could use jaws 6 sometime as long as the date isn't too far off, but I don't trust it, so even if I do use jaws 6, I'm not going to set it to start when the computer does, because I don't know when it's going to roll back again, and I don't trust it. Does anybody have any ideas what can throw the date off like that, when the computer doesn't even need a new battery? The date/time held for 5 months, after we got someone to do the bios setup, then it goes back for 2 days, now it's right again. Hmmm, shaking my head in bewilderment.
